Nature-based projects are not treated as energy assets. They require a dedicated carbon methodology addressing baseline, additionality, leakage, permanence, reversal risk and independent verification.
A WTS is a quantified energy-evidence unit calculated from eligible energy under the versioned BP13 methodology and recorded in the WATTii registry. It is distinct from the Proof Score, the assurance level, avoided tonnes of CO2 and economic value.
Energy WTS issuance is not applicable. A nature-based record cannot call the energy-WTS workflow.
